The Florida Institute of Certified Public Accountants (FICPA) MEGA Conference will be held online and on site at the Disney Contemporary Resort in Lake Buena Vista Florida, June 7-11, 2022. This Florida-focused, three-day program features more than 65 sessions hosted by more than 80 thought leaders, a solution-focused exhibit space and ample networking opportunities.
Attendees can earn up to earn up to 32 hours of CPE as they craft a custom schedule from our specialized tracks. This year’s conference will feature:
- New learning tracks focused on sports management; environmental, social and corporate governance (ESG); corporate finance; fraud and forensic accounting; and diversity, equity and inclusion.
- TED-Style Learning Labs. This is a series of quick-hitting presentations from subject-matter experts offering attendees cutting-edge insights and four (4) free hours of CPE credit.
- Keynote Presentations:
- AICPA President and CEO Barry Melancon will share a professional issues update.
- University of Florida Associate Athletic Director-CFO Melissa Stuckey will discuss NIL, SEC expansion, and their impact on finances
- Motivational speaker and former Orlando Magic executive Lucas Boyce will share insights on how to overcome adversity to attain your goals.
- Closing Night Networking Dinner and live entertainment with Howl at the Moon’s Dueling Pianos.

In addition to the sports management, Corporate Finance, DE&I and the ESG sessions mentioned above, learning tracks also include Advanced Accounting and Auditing, Employee Benefits, State Tax, Technology and Advisory Services, Financial Planning, and Professional Development.

MEGA will be home to the FICPA’s Women’s Leadership Summit and the presentation of our 2022 Women to Watch Awards, honoring both an Emerging Leader and an Experienced Leader who have each made important contributions to the CPA profession.
