About The Instructor

Ullrich was born and raised in St. Petersburg, FL. He attended high school at Northside Christian and received both a bachelor's and master's degree in accounting at Florida State University. Upon graduation, John became a licensed CPA and practiced public accounting for Gregory, Sharer & Stuart as well as McClanathan, Burg & Arndt. His areas of focus included audits of Nonprofits, manufacturing, construction, trust services and real estate development. John also prepared tax returns for high net worth individuals and practiced forensic accounting and litigation support in both the commercial litigation and family law arenas. John left the practice of public accounting to put his financial knowledge to work as a partner at Wallace, Welch & Willingham where he specializes in property and casualty lines for Nonprofit Organizations. As a lifelong resident of St. Petersburg, John has a passion for his community and believes in giving back to the community that has given so much to him. He is currently a Past President of the Northeast Exchange Club of St. Petersburg and Vice President of the Suncoasters. John serves on the board of the St. Petersburg Police Athletic League and the advisory council of Tampa BayWatch. He is an alumni of Leadership St. Pete (class of 2006) and the Leadership St. Pete Alumni Association.
