About The Instructor
Author and business owner Joey Brannon started Axiom in 2005 with a vision to help small, family-owned businesses achieve their goals. Most business owners are getting pulled in 100 different directions and are frustrated by a lack of growth. Joey and his team at Axiom help businesses build and follow plans to grow while giving the owner more freedom from daily operations.
As a CPA with over 20 years of small business experience Joey brings both financial discipline and creative strategic thinking together in one process. Clients cover a range of industries and geographic markets. Over 80% of Axiom's clients have a second or third generation involved in the business.
Joey is also the author of Grow With Purpose: Building a Mission Minded Business (Advantage 2019). He believes that small business done well has a great ability to change the world around it for the better than any other institution, government program or non-profit. Grow With Purpose is a roadmap for leaders who want to make a difference by building a great business.
Joey is a Florida native and has been married to Josie since 2000. They have three children: Andrew, Lance and Anelise. Both are actively involved in their church, Cornerstone of Lakewood Ranch, and in the surrounding community. Joey serves on the boards of The Manatee Family YMCA, Realize Bradenton, Parenting Matters and Marriage and Family Works. He has been a member of The C12 Group since 2007.
