About The InstructorBob Lewis is the President of The Visionary Group. Visionary is a team of professionals 100% dedicated to CPA firm growth. Bob acts as the Chief Growth Officer for CPA firms, provides custom merger and acquisition searches to acquire, combine or sell firms, and helps with succession development. He and his team help firms realign their vision, execute their growth plan, and create a sales culture focusing on expanding their business development capabilities.
Focus Areas: Bob’s team creates or refines the growth strategy and implements their plan with them. His team conducts existing client mining, referral partner development, new prospect outreach and channel strategies. This includes developing industry or service niche groups, expanding CAS efforts, creating pricing strategies and proposal redevelopment. A central focus is working with firm professionals to get them skilled and comfortable selling and networking. We develop a Next Gen team, conduct sales training, and provide individual lead management. His team created custom software the Enterprise Assessment to help CPAs learn how to sell.
Education & Contact. Bob’s background started in accounting with Fortune 100 entities. He managed the closing process and went through an extensive financial business reengineering effort.
