About The Instructor
Charles P. “Chip" Cicchetti, a graduate of The Florida State University with a degree in accounting, has 28 years of banking experience, all gained in the commercial banking arena in Tallahassee Florida. He has worked for three (3) federally charted banks including: seven (7) years at what is today Bank of America (it was C&S Bank and NationsBank at that time), thirteen (13) years at SunTrust Bank, and the last eight (8) years at Hancock Bank. During that time he has banked companies from a start-up phase through selling out to either a competitor or a private equity group. Today he is focused upon commercial and industrial (“C&I”) clients with annual revenues greater than $5,000,000, with an emphasis of providing both lending and Treasury Management solutions for these clients as well as serving as the primary point of contact for any banking needs they have. On a personal note he has been involved in the community, serving as a Board Member and Chairman for the American Red Cross and as a graduate (Class XIII), Board Member and Chairman of Leadership Tallahassee. He has lived in Tallahassee since attending FSU, has been married to a local attorney for twenty-eight (28) years and has two children. He is an avid Florida State Football fan who enjoys sports, traveling, biking, reading and keeping up with his children’s sports activities.
