Two decades of expertise to serve your needs A-LIGN's co-founder and President Gene Geiger has spent his career implementing and assessing information technology controls. Gene currently leads the security practice at A-LIGN and has performed and managed assessments against published security standards including ISO 27001, PCI DSS, FedRAMP, FISMA, HIPAA/HITECH, and HITRUST. He is responsible for developing A-LIGN's assessment methodology and educating clients regarding the published standards. Prior to joining A-LIGN, Gene served as an executive at a Big 4 firm and was responsible for the compliance of a Fortune 500 processor's debit and credit card processing division. In this role, Gene oversaw the compliance programs to ensure adherence with PCI DSS, SOC 1, and FFIEC requirements. As both a licensed CPA and security professional with a number of distinguished designations, Gene is a knowledge leader in regards to the complex security and compliance landscape.
