About The Instructor

Ms. Hargreaves leads KB Healthcare Consultants which is comprised of a team of accountants, consultants and certified professional coders who provide "best practice" service solutions to healthcare industry organizations, including physician and dental groups, laboratories, hospitals and ambulatory surgery centers. Her practice areas include valuation, merger and acquisition planning, business and individual income tax consulting and preparation and revenue cycle management. Biography: Kathleen Hargreaves, CPA/CFP®/CPC® is a shareholder with Kerkering, Barberio & Co., CPAs. She has served as manager of the firm's Healthcare Advisory Services division since 1992. Prior to joining Kerkering Barberio, she worked for a physician practice management company as a consultant, eventually becoming its vice president of finance. Education: Ms Hargreaves graduated from Wayne State University in Detroit, Michigan with a B.S. in business administration. Organizational Involvement: Ms Hargreaves is a member and former Chair of the Florida Institute of Certified Public Accountants Health Care Conference Committee. She serves on the boards of Centerstone (formerly Manatee Glens Hospital) and the Suncoast Communities Blood Bank. She is a member of the American Academy of Professional Coders, the Healthcare Financial Management Association and the Medical Group Management Association. She is active with the Manatee County Chamber Healthcare Committee and The Greater Sarasota Chamber of Commerce.
