About The Instructor
Tina is a principal with more than 20 years of experience assisting many of our nonprofit clients with the annual filing of their information returns and prepares individual and trust tax returns. As a leading member of our tax department, she serves as the Exempt Tax Regional Leader for the Sunbelt and is the Private Foundation industry leader for the firm. She also has experience planning, directing, and supervising financial and compliance audits of nonprofits, education organizations including community college and K-12 school districts, colleges, and universities. She has significant experience completing single audits under the Uniform Guidance and has received an advanced single audit certificate from the AICPA. She has assisted several school districts community college, and special district clients with reporting standards for pensions and other post-employment benefits. Tina conducts tax webinars and accounting workshops and addresses organizations such as the California Association of School Business Officials and the Community College Internal Auditors.
