About The Instructor

Richard S. Fechter, CAMS, Esq. is a Manager with Berkowitz Dick Pollack & Brant Certified Public Accountants & Consultants, LLC ("BDPB") and has been with the Firm since January 2004. He has over 13 years of experience as a forensic and litigation consultant while practicing primarily in the South Florida area. After spending three years as a Senior Assistant Attorney General, Department of Legal Affairs for the State of Florida, he joined a boutique forensic accounting firm in Coconut Grove (Plave Manten Consulting Group, f/k/a Plave, Freeman, & Goldberg) where he assisted in the defense and/or prosecution of international, national, and local high-profile cases involving allegations of tax, banking, insurance, securities, and money laundering violations. As a senior associate with PricewaterhouseCoopers, a manager with KPMG and currently a manager with BDPB, his experiences include analyses of lost profits, damages, fraud, financial investigations, and analysis of fraudulent conveyances, preferences and other forensic issues involving insolvency cases.
