In light of the COVID-19 pandemic, we've added flexibility to our cancellation policy. Your health and safety are our primary concern. As a result, the FICPA will not charge a cancellation fee if you decide not to attend an in-person event over concerns related to health or travel.
As we move ahead with planning and implementing live events, we are in constant communication with our event facilities and keeping up to date with CDC guidelines.
FICPA in-person-event protocols include but are not limited to:
- A no-handshake, no-hugs policy
- Additional facility cleaning
- Hand-sanitization stations
- Socially distant seating
- Food-and-beverage-service changes, replacing self-serve buffets with pre-packaged or boxed lunches; facility staff may also serve guests
We are also exploring self-check-in options.
Specific information for on-site participants will be coming soon, advising attendees on what to expect while staying at a hotel and attending conference functions.
