Erin Buss, Executive Vice President of Development, Southeast Trust CompanyErin Buss
Erin is currently the Executive Vice President of Development and Strategy at SouthEast Trust Company in Ocala, Florida. She works to build both client and community relationships while focusing on the growth of the team through continued education and training. Additionally, she develops and executes strategies for expansion of the trust company across the state of Florida.
Prior to joining SouthEast Trust Company, Erin worked at Purvis Gray and Company, a state-wide CPA Firm, as the Firm Administrator where she oversees strategic growth initiatives, operational efficiencies, marketing, recruitment, training and development planning and implementation. During her time there she helped rebrand the firm, open and establish three new locations, assisted the company to achieve over 20% in employee growth, and develop a unique curriculum to assist with the development of the team at Purvis Gray.
Prior to working with Purvis Gray Erin was in the financial services industry for 15 years. As Vice President of Commercial Lending at Community Bank and Trust of Florida she was responsible for the growth and success of a large loan portfolio of corporations, individuals, and non-profits. She also developed and led a team of professionals focused on innovation in the banking industry. During this time Erin was also the co-founder of the Performing Arts Conservatory where for 13 years she taught dance and helped to produce three live productions annually.
When Erin is not helping her work team thrive, she is supporting her home team of a loving husband of 18 years and three sons who are busy with baseball, dance and lacrosse. You can also find her in the community as a member of the School Board at Blessed Trinity Catholic School, volunteer at Blessed Trinity Catholic Church, and the United Way of Marion County Board of Directors. In her spare time Erin enjoys running, yoga, platies, hiking and spending time with her family on the water.
