FICPA CPA Day at the Capitol
-
Tallahassee
0.0 Credits
This week's winter weather in Tallahassee prompted both an executive order from Gov. Ron DeSantis and a two-day closure of the Florida Capitol. As such, we have rescheduled our event and look forward to hosting you at the Capitol in two weeks. All members who were already registered for CPA Day at the Capitol have been automatically re-registered for Feb. 5. We have opened a new room block at the DoubleTree, and you can book your accommodations via this online portal. In the event you were registered for the Jan. 22 date and can no longer participate on Feb. 5, we kindly ask that you contact MSC@ficpa.org as soon as possible. Likewise, if you were unable to join us on Jan. 22 but would like to be a part of CPA Day at the Capitol on Feb. 5, we invite you to register now and make use of the hotel room block – both linked above. With the FICPA having already introduced game-changing legislation focused on modernizing CPA licensure – and given the Legislature’s significant interest in regulatory and licensure changes – your participation in CPA Day at the Capitol will be critical to our success during Session. We thank you for your understanding with respect to the date change and for your continued support of the FICPA’s ongoing advocacy efforts. We can’t wait to see you on Feb. 5 in Tallahassee!
