to levy;

• A thirty-day notice of intention to levy (IRC 6331(a);

• The importance of having the Revenue Officer's Supervisor's
telephone number and fax number, in the event a quick action is
needed;
• Knowing the chain of command with name, telephone and fax
numbers, for all of the Regional Managers, in the event it would
become needed

Raul Serrano Jr, Raul O. Serrano Jr, PARaul Serrano Jr
Raul O. Serrano, Jr., CPA concentrates his area of practice in the representation of all tax controversies before the Internal Revenue Service.
Since1986, Raul has helped many individuals and corporations in resolving their tax disputes with the Internal Revenue Service in collection matters, examinations and in appeals. Also, Raul has served as a consultant to other practitioners in various tax issues, including criminal investigations by the Internal Revenue Service.
Raul graduated from Florida International University in 1982 with a Bachelor in Business Administration. Further, Raul has had extensive training in Tax Court and Internal Revenue Service practice and procedures. He has been a Certified Public Accountant since 1984, and is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA), including its Tax Section, and of the Florida Institute of Certified Public Accountants (FICPA), and a member of its Federal Taxation Committee. Raul is a Past President of the Gold Coast Chapter of the FICPA; and since 2003, he has been moderating, on behalf of the Gold Coast Chapter, a monthly tax roundtable meeting for tax practitioners who bring their questions and problems for discussion at said meeting.
Raul is a frequent speaker before CPA’s and other professionals in matters relating to tax controversies. The following are sample topics:

Raul has also appeared live on the morning news of Spanish television station Univision, Channel 23, to discuss various tax topics, and he has also participated in live tax discussions on various Spanish radio stations.
