Arlene Ravalo-Jao, Director, Cherry Bekaert

A senior manager in Cherry Bekaert’s Valuation Services practice, Arlene has extensive experience providing business valuation and litigation support services for privately-held and SEC publicly-traded companies in a wide range of industries.
Arlene specializes in valuation services involving purchase price allocations (“ASC 805”), goodwill and intangible impairment testing (“ASC 350/360”), and valuations for transactions and tax purposes. In addition to business valuations, she has provided expert testimony and dispute advisory services involving commercial and matrimonial litigation matters. 
Arlene is also a member of the Firm’s South Florida THInc® group, a specialty practice focused on serving clients in the technology, health and industrial (e.g., manufacturing, distribution, trade & logistics) sectors.
Prior to joining the Firm, Arlene held valuation roles with Big Four and other national and local firms. She was also an investment analyst for a leading venture capital and private equity group in Puerto Rico. Arlene is fluent in English and Spanish, and has been a speaker for various professional groups on valuation and financial litigation support topics.
