Newly Certified Ceremony
Each year, the FICPA recognizes individuals who have recently earned their Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license in Florida. The Newly Certified Ceremony acknowledges the commitment and achievement required to enter the profession.
The 2026 ceremony will take place at 5:30 p.m. on Mon., June 15, 2026, at the Hyatt Regency Grand Cypress in Orlando, as part of the annual MEGA Celebration..
The ceremony includes:
- Light refreshments, including drinks and passed hors d’oeuvres
- Remarks and recognition alongside profession and state leadership
- A framed certificate presented to each newly licensed CPA
Expected guests include representatives from the Department of Business & Professional Regulation, the Florida Board of Accountancy, and FICPA leadership.
Eligibility and Registration
Complimentary registration is available for the first 40 eligible participants. To qualify, individuals
must have received their initial CPA license in Florida between June 2025 and June 2026.
Guest tickets may be purchased for $135.
