IRS commissioner Charles Rettig to speak at next month's International Tax Conference

The FICPA and Florida Bar Tax Section are pleased to welcome current IRS commissioner Charles Rettig as a featured speaker at the 39th annual International Tax Conference & Boot Camp.

Commissioner Rettig is set to present on Thursday, Jan. 14, in a talk entitled, "International Initiatives for 2021 and Beyond – What to Expect from the IRS." 

The session, from 12:30-1:20 p.m., will focus on areas of concentration for the international division of the IRS. It will also address how the IRS and international tax professionals can work together more cohesively to deliver the services required by taxpayers. Finally, Commissioner Rettig will touch on offshore tax initiatives and their impact on increasing taxpayer compliance.

Remember to sign up for both events: ITC Boot Camp on Wednesday, Jan. 13, and the ITC itself on Thursday, Jan. 14, and Friday, Jan. 15.

The conference will qualify for 16 Technical Business (TB) hours, subject to approval by the Florida Department of Business and Professional Regulation, with an additional eight TB available via Boot Camp.
