FICPA postpones all Fort Lauderdale events with Nicole on approach

With Subtropical Storm Nicole expected to hit Florida as a hurricane this week, the FICPA is postponing all in-person events planned for Nov. 9-11 in Fort Lauderdale.

Ahead of the storm’s arrival, Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis on Monday issued a State of Emergency for 34 counties, including Broward.

To ensure the safety of our members, staff, speakers and sponsors, the South Florida Accounting Conference, CIRA Conference, Florida Ethics (4980), Learning Labs, South Florida Scholarship Night and all other FICPA and Scholarship Foundation events originally planned for Nov. 9-11 in Fort Lauderdale will be postponed and rescheduled.

The FICPA will continue to monitor the storm’s progress, and we will update our members with the new dates for each event as soon as possible.

Members can visit our Disaster Relief hub for updates on the storm as it develops and reach our Member Service Center at 850-224-2727 or msc@ficpa.org
