Mark Oefinger

Markham Norton Mosteller Wright & Co., P.A. (MNMW) welcomed Mark Oefinger as a Senior Associate in the Tax and Accounting division. 

Oefinger is a graduate from the University of South Florida with a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting. His areas of expertise include individual and business taxation, tax planning, and tax preparation. He is also a Certified QuickBooks Online and Desktop Pro-Advisor.

Beth Skarda

Saltmarsh, Cleaveland & Gund, one of the region’s leading CPA and consulting firms with offices in Pensacola, Destin, Tampa, Orlando and Nashville, is excited to announce that Beth Skarda, CPA, has been elected shareholder as of January 1, 2022.

“Clients just love working with Beth. She has been a key driver of our tax practice’s growth and a central member of our firm’s culture,” said Lee Bell, firm President. “She is truly an example of leadership and service not only to our next generation but also to the entire Pensacola community. I’m so proud to have her as a partner and our newest shareholder!”

Beth graduated from Auburn University and started with Saltmarsh as a seasonal accountant in the Tax and Accounting Services practice. In 2006, she joined the firm full time and has been providing tax compliance, strategic planning and consulting services for hundreds of the firm’s individual, partnership and corporate clients within the healthcare, real estate, legal services and manufacturing industries.

She is a dedicated contributor to the community and currently lends her expertise as Treasurer on the Board of Directors for multiple organizations including Manna Food Bank, Pensacola Little Theatre and First Tee of Northwest Florida. Over the years, she has served on the Board or Committee of several other community groups such as Pensacola Five Flags Rotary where she received the Paul Harris Fellow Award, the Junior League of Pensacola, Fiesta Forces and the Leadership Pensacola Alumni Association. Beth is a graduate of the Leadership Pensacola Class of 2010 and is also one of the newest members of one of Pensacola’s esteemed clubs, the Irish Politicians Club.

Beth also serves in a leadership role on Saltmarsh’s People Development Committee and the Outsourced Accounting Solutions practice. She is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and the Florida Institute of Certified Public Accountants (FICPA).

Warren Averett

Branden Crosby, Clare Haenszel, Skye Hensley

Warren Averett CPAs and Advisors is pleased to announce that three individuals have been promoted to Members of the Firm, effective January 1, 2022. We are proud to recognize their past accomplishments and celebrate their future endeavors as they start this new chapter of their careers. 

  • Branden Crosby (Tax, Destin), CPA, CGMA, MBA, is responsible for maintaining and strengthening client portfolios by providing superior tax and consulting services to high-net-worth individuals, corporations and partnerships that serve within the craft brewery, manufacturing, construction contracting and rental property sectors.
  • Clare Haenszel (Audit, Pensacola), CPA, focuses her practice on clients in the manufacturing, retail and public sector industries. She helps organizations develop effective and efficient financial statement and control processes, implement accounting changes and guides them through transactions of all kinds.
  • Skye Hensley (Tax, Pensacola), CPA, is the Firm’s tax service area leader of the Pensacola office and Gulf Coast Region. She is passionate about improving processes and serves on the Firm’s Tax Best Practice Group. She specializes in helping individuals and their businesses with all their tax and accounting needs.
