Markham Norton Mosteller Wright & Co., P.A. (MNMW) welcomed Mark Oefinger as a Senior Associate in the Tax and Accounting division.
Oefinger is a graduate from the University of South Florida with a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting. His areas of expertise include individual and business taxation, tax planning, and tax preparation. He is also a Certified QuickBooks Online and Desktop Pro-Advisor.
Saltmarsh, Cleaveland & Gund, one of the region’s leading CPA and consulting firms with offices in Pensacola, Destin, Tampa, Orlando and Nashville, is excited to announce that Beth Skarda, CPA, has been elected shareholder as of January 1, 2022.
“Clients just love working with Beth. She has been a key driver of our tax practice’s growth and a central member of our firm’s culture,” said Lee Bell, firm President. “She is truly an example of leadership and service not only to our next generation but also to the entire Pensacola community. I’m so proud to have her as a partner and our newest shareholder!”
Beth graduated from Auburn University and started with Saltmarsh as a seasonal accountant in the Tax and Accounting Services practice. In 2006, she joined the firm full time and has been providing tax compliance, strategic planning and consulting services for hundreds of the firm’s individual, partnership and corporate clients within the healthcare, real estate, legal services and manufacturing industries.
She is a dedicated contributor to the community and currently lends her expertise as Treasurer on the Board of Directors for multiple organizations including Manna Food Bank, Pensacola Little Theatre and First Tee of Northwest Florida. Over the years, she has served on the Board or Committee of several other community groups such as Pensacola Five Flags Rotary where she received the Paul Harris Fellow Award, the Junior League of Pensacola, Fiesta Forces and the Leadership Pensacola Alumni Association. Beth is a graduate of the Leadership Pensacola Class of 2010 and is also one of the newest members of one of Pensacola’s esteemed clubs, the Irish Politicians Club.
Beth also serves in a leadership role on Saltmarsh’s People Development Committee and the Outsourced Accounting Solutions practice. She is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and the Florida Institute of Certified Public Accountants (FICPA).
