The Florida Board of Accountancy (BOA) handles requirements for certification, licensure, and reciprocity. Additionally, the BOA provides information on the May and November CPA exams and is able to verify if someone is certified and/or licensed in Florida.

The BOA has addresses and phone numbers for Florida CPAs and provides information to out-of-state firms seeking temporary permits.

Questions regarding Florida law and rules pertaining to the practice of public accountancy, and CPE Reporting Forms, should be directed to the BOA.

The BOA also provides information on how an organization can become an approved CPE provider for Florida CPAs.
