About The Instructor

Natasha Novikov, CPA/CFF, CFE is a Forensic Accountant with the Federal Bureau of Investigation in the Tampa division's Orlando resident agency.  Natasha investigates federal violations covering multiple programs and is a member of the FBI's Corporate Fraud Response Team.  She is the division's Forensic Accountant Program Coordinator and manages the division's resource allocation of nine Forensic Accountants and Financial Analysts.  Natasha is a graduate from the second FBI Forensic Accountant Academy class and later served as Field Counselor at the FBI Academy in Quantico.  She is the Tampa representative and Executive Council member on the FBI Director's Advisory Committee.  Prior to her assignment in Orlando, Natasha was embedded on the Joint Terrorism Task Force (JTTF) in Tampa and covered national security matters, including counterterrorism and counterintelligence missions.  During her tenure on the JTTF, she was the Terrorist Financing Coordinator with program oversight of all terrorist financing cases for the division.  
 
Natasha graduated from the University of Virginia with a master's degree in accounting and from the University of Florida with a bachelor's degree in business administration with a major in finance and minor in criminology.  Natasha was named the 2015 Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE) of the Year by the ACFE, the 2016 Woman to Watch Emerging Leader by the FICPA, a Standing Ovation Award recipient in 2015 by the AICPA Forensic and Valuation Services section, and a Horizon Award recipient in 2017 by the FICPA.  She is a member of the FICPA's Accounting Careers and Young CPA committees in addition to the AICPA's Certified in Financial Forensics (CFF) Credential and Student Recruitment committees.  She is the chair of the AICPA's CFF Exam Task Force and is a CFF Champion for Florida.
