About The Instructor
Brian Howsare is a tax attorney specializing in indirect taxation, serving organizations in many different industries including technology, manufacturing, healthcare, and hospitality. Brian has extensive experience in audit controversy, refund claims, mergers and acquisitions, tax planning, and tax technology implementation. Brian is a regular speaker on state and local taxation, presenting at events hosted by FICPA, COST, and the University of South Florida. Brian previously co-chaired the National Tax Moot Court Competition hosted annually by the Tax Section of the Florida Bar and has authored numerous articles published in Bloomberg BNA, Tax Notes, and the Pittsburgh Tax Review.
