About The Instructor

Having founded Healthcare Law Partners, LLC with his father, Ben previously worked as in-house for large and small hospital systems, physician groups, insurance plans, and other healthcare related businesses. Ben is certified in Healthcare Compliance (as a compliance officer). He holds a Masters of Public Health & Administration from Yale University; a Masters of Law (LL.M.) in Taxation (concentration in Mergers & Acquisitions) from Villanova University; a Juris Doctor from Nova Southeastern University; and a Bachelors in Accounting from Florida International University. Ben serves associations like the American College of Healthcare Executives (ACHE) of South Florida, National Association of Health Services Executives (NAHSE) of Florida, and Indian Physicians of Florida (IPOF). Ben has litigated nearly 2000 cases, and approaches litigation in a practical straightforward no-nonsense manner. He is an advocate of healthcare provider rights and population health, and follows the philosophy of: "How far you go in life depends on your being tender with the young, compassionate with the aged, sympathetic with the striving, and tolerant of the weak and the strong, – because someday you will have been all of these." -George Washington Carver
