About The Instructor
Tim McCabe is the Regional Vice President, covering the Florida region for Bluerock Capital Markets, which he joined in June of 2016. He is responsible for sales throughout Florida in all Bluerock’s products including covered securities, 1031, and Interval fund space. Bluerock is one of the nation’s top providers of exchanges with over 15 years’ experience, 2 billion in exchange properties spanning 10 million square feet. Tim specializes in 1031 exchanges for Bluerock in the Florida region and has over three decades of wholesaling experience across all channels of distribution. Tim has raised over 1 ½ billion dollars of assets in his career. He has been a top presenter and has giving over 300 presentations in seminars, conferences, forums and associations throughout his career.
Prior to joining Bluerock, Tim started his career with Calvert Funds in the late 80’s. He was a Regional Vice President at AXA/equitable and Metlife Investors in the Annuity space, then entered the Alternative world at KBS and Steadfast reits.
Tim holds the Series, 63 and 7. Has also held the Life, Health and Annuity licenses as well as a CFP and CLTC licenses. He earned his Bachelor of Science from the University of Maryland, while on a full golf scholarship in golf under current touring professional Fred Funk. Tim resides in Atlanta, with his wife and has two kids.
