Trey works in the governmental practice of Mauldin & Jenkins.  His experience covers a wide variety of state and local governments in Florida, Georgia, and South Carolina.  Trey became a Director in July 2017.

After graduating from Austin College (Sherman, Texas) in 2003, Trey attended graduate school at the University of West Georgia and obtained his Master of Professional Accountancy degree in 2008.  Trey joined Mauldin & Jenkins in August of that year.  Trey has been licensed as a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) since 2010. He is currently licensed to practice in the states of Florida and Georgia.

Trey is involved in a variety of organizations to both support the governmental industry and to promote the CPA profession overall.  Trey is a member of the American Institute of CPAs, the Florida Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the Government Finance Officer's Association, and the Florida Government Finance Officer's Association.

Trey teaches at numerous governmental conferences annually including various Florida Government Finance Officer's Association (FGFOA) Chapter Meetings, the FGFOA School of Governmental Finance and the Florida Institute of Certified Public Accountants (FICPA) State and Local Government Conference.

Trey lives in Bradenton with his wife, Jaclyn, and son Johnny.
