About The Instructor

Tom Hilton is a Partner in the Fraud, Forensic & Litigation Services Group at Anders LLP in St. Louis. He is an adjunct professor of forensic accounting at the Richard A. Chaifetz School of Business at St. Louis University, and has taught forensic accounting at both the St. Louis and Madrid, Spain campuses.

Mr. Hilton has served as a member of the Board of Directors of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, he is a past member of the Board of Directors of the AICPA Foundation, past Chair of the AICPA Forensic and Valuation Services Executive Committee, past Chair of AICPA Business Valuation Committee, and has served as a member of AICPA Governing Council. Mr. Hilton also served as a member of the CFF Task Force which created the Certified in Financial Forensic credential at AICPA. 

Mr. Hilton has represented the AICPA in testimony before the Internal Revenue Service regarding the proposed appraiser penalties regulations under the Pension Protection Act of 2006.

He was inducted into the AICPA Business Valuation Hall of Fame in 2004. In 2005 and 2006, Mr. Hilton was named one of the Top 100 Most Influential Practitioners by CPA Magazine
