Mary Helen Farris is the General Counsel for the Hillsborough County Attorney’s Office and has been with the Office since 1992. Mrs. Farris received her undergraduate and law degrees from the University of Florida, and was admitted to the Florida Bar in 1987. Mrs. Farris practices in the areas of home rule charter, public records, sunshine law, elections, and ethics. Mrs. Farris is Florida Bar Board Certified in City, County and Local Government Law, is a Past Chair of the City, County and Local Government Law Section of the Florida Bar and a past Chair of the CCLG Certification Review Committee.
