Upon retiring from the University of South Florida in July 2014, Professor Jozsi accepted a faculty position in the Business School at Florida Southern College where is teaching both undergraduate and graduate courses in accounting and is a faculty advisor for the Accounting Student Association. 

While at USF, Professor Jozsi was the School of Accountancy Accounting Circle Teaching Fellow.  She is the recipient of twenty teaching awards, including the FICPA Outstanding Accounting Educator Award. She was a past president of the Tampa Bay Chapter of National Association of Accountants (now Institute of Management Accountants), past president of Beta Gamma Sigma (honorary business and professional association) at USF and past Faculty Advisor of Beta Alpha Psi at USF, and was recognized by the Tampa Bay Hispanic Heritage Foundation as Hispanic Woman of the Year in Education. 

Professor Jozsi has taught financial and cost accounting at the undergraduate and MBA levels as well as study abroad courses and live CPA Review courses for many years. As a Florida CPA, Professor Jozsi is a frequent Continuing Professional Education (CPE) presenter for the FICPA West Coast Chapter, FICPA Florida Gulf Coast, FICPA Sandspur Chapter, FICPA Suncoast Chapter, FICPA Conferences and FAB Expo, ALPFA, IMA, and multiple years at the Community Foundation Fowler White CPE Extravaganza. She has published in the Florida CPA Today and is the in-coming Chair of the FICPA Relations with Accounting Educators Committee. 

Professor Celina Jozsi bio highlights:

• Faculty member at Florida Southern College Business School 

• College of Business – School of Accountancy Accounting Circle Teaching Fellow at the University of South Florida. Appointment was awarded for lengthy history of teaching excellence.

• Recipient of twenty teaching awards: each year the accounting students in the School of Accountancy at the University of South Florida voted on an Outstanding Faculty member. Professor Jozsi earned the SOA teaching award teaching award (based on student vote) 11 times. She also earned 3 teaching awards at the College of Business level and 6 teaching awards at the University of South Florida level. 

• Recognized as the FICPA Outstanding Accounting Educator of the Year in 2009. 

• Past President of Tampa Bay Chapter of National Association of Accountants (now Institute of Management Accountants) in 1987. She was the first woman president of the chapter and had served in various roles prior to 1987.

• Past President of Beta Gamma Sigma (honorary business and professional association) at USF. Installed two Beta Gamma Sigma chapters and received a service award from Beta Gamma Sigma National.

• Past Faculty Advisor of Beta Alpha Psi at USF, including being the advisor the first year that the chapter achieved Superior ranking. She also received service awards from Beta Alpha Psi National.

• As  a Florida CPA, she is a frequent Continuing Professional Education (CPE) presenter: FICPA West Coast Chapter, FICPA Florida Gulf Coast, FICPA Sandspur Chapter, FICPA Suncoast Chapter, FICPA Conferences and FAB Expo, ALPFA, IMA, and multiple years at the Community Foundation Fowler White Tampa and Fort Myers CPE Extravaganza.

• Published in Florida CPA Today and is the in-coming Chair of the FICPA Relations with Accounting Educators Committee.

• Community involvement including the FICPA Minority High School Summer Camp, American Great Teach In, Hispanic Heritage, as well as significant involvement with the accounting business community with respect to student recruiting, conference planning, scholarships, etc. Consulting experience and currently co-authoring a Managerial Accounting textbook. 

• Taught in the live USF CPA Review Program for over twenty years. Student participating in the USF  CPA Exam Review Program achieved high passing rates, including several top scores in the nation.

• Led students on very successful Study Abroad trip to South America and Europe which included numerous corporate visits (organized by me) with global enterprises.

• Taught financial and managerial accounting at the following levels: Principles, Intermediate, MBA, Executive MBA, and specific programs for corporations.
