About The Instructor

MARVE ANN M. ALAIMO is a partner in the Naples, Florida office of Porter Wright Morris & Arthur LLP and co-chair of the firm's Estate Planning & Wealth Protection practice group.  As a Florida Bar Board Certified Wills, Trusts and Estates lawyer, Marve Ann has more than 20 years of experience of experience in estate and charitable gift planning, probate and trust administration, as well as estate, trust and guardianship litigation.  A substantial part of Marve Ann's practice is dedicated to addressing, managing and resolving disputes in guardianship, probate and trust administration matters.  She also counsels families in constructing estate plans and administering estates and trusts to minimize the potential for future disputes. Marve Ann earned her Juris Doctor with honors from the University of Florida Levin College of Law and a Master of Laws in Estate Planning from the University of Miami School of Law.  Marve Ann is an active member of the Real Property, Probate and Trust Law Section of the Florida Bar and serves on its Executive Council as an At-Large Member.  She is also a member of the Florida Bar's Probate Rules Committee and Diversity and Inclusion Committee.
