Alejandro Romillo is president and chief executive officer of Health Choice Network of Florida and Health Choice Network Inc. 

Romillo, oversees the strategic direction of the Florida-based, non-profit Health Center Controlled Network. With employees across the United States and operating in 21 States, Health Choice Network is one of the largest safety-net provider networks in the U.S. leading operational efficiencies for health centers, clinical innovations for clinicians, technology solutions, value based managed care initiatives, and member focused opportunities; it supports over 9,100 health center employees serving over 1.8 Million Patients in 2016. 

Romillo became president and chief executive officer in February 2016, chief operating officer in October 2012, founding executive team member of Health Choice Care LLC., in 2013, and chief information officer for Health Choice Network Inc. in September 2010.


In 2008, became a founding member of Prestige Health Choice, LLC., a provider service network majorly owned by health centers providing healthcare services to its members in Florida. It offered health benefits, such as medical benefits, medication benefits, and vision benefits; and behavioral health services to over 300K Medicaid Floridians. Prestige Health Choice, was acquired by Florida True Health in October 2015. 

Until June 2003, Romillo served as a member of the executive team of a Federally Qualified Health Center in South Florida - Community Health of South Dade, where he supported the organization’s information technology and business operations focused on specific growth enablers, including important Local, State and National accreditations, leadership initiatives and program performance. Before that, Romillo served as a management information systems administrator at the University Of Miami Miller School Of Medicine, of Obstetrics and Gynecology.

Romillo, who joined the health information technology trade in 1992, has used his expertise and leadership strategies to implement cost effective and leading-edge technology solutions to reach the most vulnerable patient populations. His passion lies in community health, focusing on primary care integrated models supporting behavioral, oral, school based health, and homeless health integration.
