Tynan’s experience includes performing valuations and fair market value analyses of medical practices and ancillary service lines for a variety of physician and hospital transactions. Additionally, her experience includes conducting medical staff development plans, physician need analyses, and market assessments. Tynan has 19 years of healthcare consulting experience and prior to re-joining PYA in 2007, spent several years providing strategic planning expertise to community hospitals/healthcare systems, academic medical centers and physician groups regarding the development of coordinated, comprehensive cancer programs.

• Fair market value – experience with valuing various arrangements including employment, call coverage, medical directorships, subsidies/stipends, co-management and management, administrative services, space and equipment, and quality initiatives
• Business valuation – experience with valuing solo and small group practices, large multispecialty practices, ambulatory surgery centers, diagnostic imaging facilities, cancer centers, and other healthcare businesses
• Physician-hospital integration – assist with identifying strategic, financial, operational and other issues associated with physician-hospital transactions and alignment including designing and modeling physician compensation arrangements
• Medical staff development plans – prepare medical staff plans and assess physician need in specialty-specific analyses • Financial and strategic planning – conduct financial and economic feasibility studies and complete demographic and market potential reviews to determine the viability of acquisitions, hospital-physician joint ventures, and expansion opportunities
