About The Instructor
David is an attorney with Moffa, Sutton, & Donnini. He practices in the area of state and local tax controversy. Before entering private practice, David was a senior attorney with the Florida Department of Revenue. At the Department, he functioned as an appeals officer in the appeals section of the Department. He focused primarily on sales and use tax issues. David interacted significantly with auditors, collectors, and numerous other areas of the Department. He also wrote letter rulings on behalf of the Department. Before attending law school and subsequently obtaining his LLM in Tax, David was an accountant after having graduated from FSU with a double major in accounting and finance as well as obtaining a minor in computer science
