About The Instructor
Carlos is a Senior Tax Manager in Kaufman Rossin's tax practice. Carlos joined the firm in 2015 and has been specializing in state and local taxes since 2017. He assists clients in a variety of industries with the planning and preparation of state and local income/franchise tax returns and sales and use tax returns, preparation of voluntary disclosure agreement applications, and resolution of notices and audits.Carlos is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and Florida Institute of Certified Public Accountants. Within the Florida Institute of Public Accountants, Carlos is a member of the State Tax Committee and member of the FICPA Council.
He obtained his Certified Public Accountant license in 2016 and earned his master's degree in Accountancy from Florida International University in 2015. Carlos also has a bachelor's degree in accounting and business management from Florida State University.
