As Chief Executive Officer for Delta Southern Railroad, Mr. Ryan demonstrates the railroad's commitment to an outstanding leadership team as an experienced senior financial executive with more than 25 years of diverse global project management experience for both publicly and privately owned entities. He has a proven record of analyzing, communicating, and implementing recommendations related to accounting literature, business acquisitions, as well as financial and operational improvements. In his role for Delta Southern Railroad, and prior to that as consultant for the company for more than three years, Mr. Ryan has directly overseen the exponential growth in revenue and EBITDA for the company, as well as managed the relevant impacts on the customers, communities, and shareholders it serves.Through his leadership, Delta Southern Railroad developed and implemented a strategic restructuring plan in 2020 including streamlining local management, together with reallocation of corporate overhead and capital funds to increase operational efficiency. Day-to-day, Mr. Ryan identifies and leverages internal resources and outsourced affiliate opportunities to strengthen real estate, marketing, and business development opportunities for Delta Southern. In addition to financial modeling, analysis, and risk management, he explores value-add opportunities for the railroad and builds strategic relationships to improve value for all stakeholders. To maintain the railroad's position as a steward for rail safety and sustainability, Mr. Ryan directs a wide range of best-inclass practices, as well as environmental welfare and efficiency program enhancements to increase revenue opportunities and ensure Delta Southern' s forward-thinking strategy to provide customers with safe, responsible, and secure product delivery.
Mr. Ryan serves as Managing Member of Ryan Advisory Services, a boutique CFO services firm located in Palm City, Florida focusing on small and startup businesses. Prior to joining Delta Southern, Mr. Ryan served as President, CFO and Director of Banyan Rail Services. Additionally, he worked as Senior Manager at both Ernst & Young and Smoak, Davis & Nixon LLP.
