Jared is an Assurance Partner with more than sixteen years of experience serving clients in the real estate and asset management industries. Jared's real estate clients have included homebuilders, condominium developers, timeshare developers, and lessors of various types of real estate. His asset management clients have included long/short hedge funds, fund of funds, traditional private equity funds, and real estate private equity funds. Jared has advised clients on various business issues including, but not limited to, financial accounting, SEC reporting, mergers / acquisitions, debt and equity financings, securitizations, system implementations, and business process improvement. Jared's financial accounting acumen includes lease accounting, revenue from contracts with customers, business combinations, consolidation accounting, impairment of long-lived assets, fair value measurements, and application of the investment company guide. Jared is a frequent speaker at continuing professional education classes sponsored by EY.
