About The Instructor

Barbara Strasdas is a 17-year member of Toastmasters International. She believes "more is better' as a current member of three toastmaster clubs. When she earned her Distinguished Toastmaster award in 2011, she was as proud and excited as when she received her CPA license. 

In her toastmaster journey she has had the opportunity to serve in many leadership roles:
2013-2014 District 47 Contest Advisor
2008-2009 District 47 Audit Chair Person
2007-2009 Area Governor as consultant to 5 clubs
Has held 19 Club Officer Positions

And received these accolades:
2014 Division D Outstanding Toastmaster
2009 Division D Outstanding Toastmaster
2009 Division D Humorous Speech Contest Winner 

In her professional life, her career path has been as a CPA in industry. With proven leadership abilities, strengthened by 17 years business experience in the law environment and 11 years in private corporations, she strongly believes in nurturing her team members and building business relationships in the community.
Her community involvement includes 4 year member of the FICPA Women's Leadership Committee, Chair Elect of the Palm Beach County FICPA Chapter, and Board Treasurer of the Boys & Girls Club of Riviera Beach.
