About The Instructor
Since 2012, Kristian has been providing assurance and advisory services to community associations, insurance agencies, and management services organizations for physician practices.Kristian is responsible for determining engagement scope and strategy, evaluating the adequacy, quality, and consistency of engagement team work, ensuring the sufficiency and appropriateness of evidence obtained to support engagement conclusions, evaluating the reasonableness of client deliverables based on understanding of the financial situation of the client, managing client communications, and supporting firm quality commitments.
Kristian is part of BDO's Condominium and Association Services team, which has been a leader in the establishment of audit and accounting standards adopted in this industry for more than three decades.
Kristian is a frequent speaker to organizations and professionals in the community association industry, and serves as a consultant to Boards of Directors, community associations' professionals and developers.
Kristian has been involved in advising clients on complex technical accounting matters including revenue recognition, and business combinations and reorganizations, and managed and performed forensic investigations and litigation support services.
