About The Instructor

Melissa Stuckey, now in her 18th year with the University Athletic Association (UAA), has over 25 years of experience in collegiate athletic and business management.

Stuckey joined the UAA staff in 1997. She's held several leadership roles within the UAA, including Assistant Athletic Director for Operations and Facilities and currently holds the position of the Associate Athletic Director – Business Manager.  In this position she has oversight of the day to day business operations of a multi-million dollar Athletic Association.

Stuckey brings extensive knowledge in collegiate athletic management including areas such as annual budgeting, financial statement audit and preparation, pension plan management, capital project financing, purchasing, travel as well as event and facility management. Since 2006, Stuckey’s been responsible for coordinating with head coaches and administrative staff to compile and administer the $112 million UAA budget. Prior to her current position as Business Manager, Stuckey oversaw the maintenance and capital improvements of the UAA Athletic Facilities and Gator men’s basketball game day operations.

When Stuckey is not busy managing the daily tasks of being the UAA business manager she applies these skills to raising two energetic boys and a sometimes energetic husband.
