About The Instructor
Lisa is an Audit Manager with the Florida Auditor General’s Office. She is currently responsible for Florida’s Single Audit, along with operational audits of the Agency for Health Care Administration and the Department of Children and Families. In her 25 years with the Office, she has been responsible for auditing a number of the State’s Federal programs, including Medicaid, Unemployment Compensation, and Disaster Assistance. Her operational auditing experience includes reviewing and evaluating how the State administered all its public assistance programs, how non-profit organizations spend State funds contracted through the Department of Children and Families, how the State’s mental health treatment facilities are managed. She has spoken on the Single Audit and Federal cost principles at several conferences. She is a graduate of the Florida State University.
