About The Instructor
Supervisory Special Agent Joseph Perera has been with IRS-CI since 2005. He worked complex tax and political corruption cases for most of his career and is well know in the field as a subject matter expert on those topics. Joe became a supervisor in 2020 and has lead an active group of senior Special Agents since that time. He has worked closely with new Special Agents in the Miami Field Office as the Senior leader, shaping the future of IRS-CI.
