About The Instructor
Special Agent Karyn Calabrese has been with the IRS for over 17 years, most of her time with the Criminal Investigation Division. She has accounting and finance degrees from Florida State University and a MBA from Florida Atlantic University. As a Special Agent, she has worked on hundreds of criminal investigations, including, tax evasion, tax preparer fraud, identity theft, PPP loan fraud, money laundering, wire fraud, mail fraud, bank fraud and more. She has executed search and arrest warrants, ran undercover operations, testified in the grand jury and at trial and worked closely with the United States Attorney's Office in numerous federal trials. She is also the Asset Forfeiture Coordinator for the Miami Field office where she is assigned and the lead Recruiter for her office.
