About The Instructor

Jennifer is chief executive officer of the Pennsylvania Institute of Certified Public Accountants (PICPA), a professional association of more than 20,000 CPAs in Pennsylvania. The PICPA is a premier statewide resource for top-class continuing professional education programs, professional networking, business-friendly advocacy, thought leadership, and a full range of services for accounting professionals.

Jennifer is committed to creating value for members and leading the CPA profession into the future. She monitors the landscape and broader ecosystem affecting CPAs to synthesize issues and develop strategies, meeting members where they are now in their careers and in the profession.

Jennifer joined the PICPA in 2015 as vice president of operations and chief financial officer. In 2018 she took on additional responsibilities as executive vice president and chief operating officer. In these roles she was responsible for day-to-day operations of the PICPA, including 66 full-time employees in four locations. She leveraged both financial and operational perspectives to influence, support, and implement strategies that were collaboratively built by members, volunteer leadership, and staff. She oversaw the acquisition of the national continuing education provider CPA Crossings, driving a diversification of revenue and setting the stage for a strong future for the PICPA.

Prior to joining the PICPA team, Jennifer was a senior manager in EisnerAmper's audit practice where she specialized in serving not-forprofit clients. Her client portfolio included social service and fine arts organizations, private educational institutions, associations and foundations, as well as biotechnology and life sciences companies.

Jennifer earned a bachelor's degree in accounting from Temple University and an MBA from Drexel University. She is a longtime member of the PICPA, American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA), and New Jersey Society of Certified Public Accountants. She also serves as a member of the Executive Committee of the Accounting Circle at Temple University.
