Purpose: Develop, promote and recognize women in accounting through professional development and mentoring. Attend one in-person meeting; plan and attend the Women in Leadership Summit and participate in at least one subcommittee.

Commitment Level: One meeting and 12 conference calls


  • To develop, advance, and recognize women CPAs.
  • Create an event for women to engage in leadership development.
  • Promote and administer the AICPA FICPA Women to Watch Awards.
  • Maintain the FICPA website for resources focusing on women’s issues.
  • Serve as subject matter experts via speaking engagements.
  • Work with chapter leadership to promote women’s initiatives and events within chapters.
  • Encourage participation in the mentorship of professionals.
