The SECURE (Setting Every Community Up for Retirement Enhancement) Act of 2019 enacted key changes for retirees, retirement plan sponsors, IRA owners, and those saving for retirement. It expands savings opportunities for workers and includes new requirements and incentives for employers that provide retirement benefits. Some of the changes include increasing the age limit for required minimum distributions, removal of contribution age limits, inherited IRA distributions, and qualified distributions.  Explore these changes and how they impact planning going forward.
