President’s Message April 2010
Dear Chapter Members:
This will be our last meeting of the fiscal year. As mentioned in last month's message, there are a couple of things to note. First, the North Central Florida FICPA Chapter has volunteered to take part in a pilot program with the FICPA. The pilot program is intended to assist the FICPA in their centralized record keeping project. As a result, on-line registration is now available. Please be sure to send your payments to the FICPA as noted above. Going forward, registration and payment will be handled by the FICPA. Our chapter will still accept you with open arms at the door without a reservation. So if you live on last minute decisions, don't worry, we will have room for you. The second item to note is that the installation of the chapter's new officers for the fiscal year ending June 30, 2012 will be held during our June 9th meeting. The North Central Florida Chapter has nominated the following individuals:

According to FICPA Chapter Bylaws, Article VI; Section 5; Any ten Public Practice or Not in Public Practice members of this Chapter may submit supplemental nominations, provided that such nominations are filed with the Secretary at least twenty days prior to the date of the election of officers. Notice of such supplemental nominations shall be mailed by the Secretary to all Public Practice and Not in Public Practice members at least ten days prior to the election of officers.
