Laurel Kelly, CFA, Martin County Property Appraiser

Elected in 1992. State-certified general real estate appraiser (Cert Gen RZ927), Certified Florida Appraiser and numerous technical and management courses through Florida State University Center for Public Management, the Appraisal Institute, and the International Association of Assessing Officers. A Past President of the Florida Association of Property Appraisers.

Jenny Fields, CFE, Assistant Property Appraiser

Jenny has 30 years of experience working in all areas of the Martin County Property Appraiser's Office. She provides technical and administrative liaison support between the Property Appraiser and all facets of the office, other governmental entities and the public. Responsibilities include assisting the Property Appraiser in determining office goals and formulating and instituting office policy and procedures. Jenny has been trained in organizational leadership and performance excellence. She has built the framework for achieving and sustaining performance excellence throughout the Property Appraiser's office. Jenny is a Certified Florida Evaluator.

Karl Andersson, CFE, Director of Tax Roll and Appraisal Services

Karl has been with the Martin County Property Appraiser's office for over 10 years. He started as an appraiser and then moved into the information technology part of the operation and became the Business Analyst and Tax Roll Manager. Karl is now the Director of Tax Roll and Appraisal Services. His appraisal background combined with his information technology background makes him an outstanding resource and excellent fit for this important position. Karl is a Certified Florida Evaluator and has a Bachelor Degree in Finance from the University of Central Florida with a Minor in Real Estate.

Tyler Steinhouser, CFE, Residential Department Manager

Tyler was an appraiser in the private sector for 4 years before joining our appraisal team 5 years ago. He has a Bachelor Degree in Social Science from Florida State University. He is a Certified Florida Evaluator and has his real estate Borker's license and Community Association Manager's license.
