For the past 10 years, Robert's practice has focused on the representation of court-appointed fiduciaries in recovering monetary losses caused by fraudulent schemes and financial crimes including Ponzi schemes, money laundering, and check kiting. From 2009 to 2016, he was a key member of the team representing the Chapter 11 trustee of Rothstein Rosenfeldt Adler, P.A., a law firm which collapsed following the revelation of Scott Rothstein's $1.2 billion Ponzi scheme. From 2009 through 2016, he was lead special counsel for the Chapter 7 trustee of a bankruptcy case stemming from a $350 million international Ponzi scheme.
