The FICPA is providing members and spouses an opportunity to give kids the world. With our help, a chronically or terminally ill child can enjoy a week of fun and laughter, free of hospitals, doctors and needles. In turn, their parents and siblings also enjoy a week free from stress and worry - a week of seeing their child smile and enjoy a typical vacation.

Give Kids the World Village (GTW) is a 70-acre resort in Orlando, complete with more than 140 villa accommodations, entertainment attractions, whimsical venues, and fun — specifically designed for children with special needs. The program provides everything these children and their families need to enjoy a week-long, cost-free fantasy vacation; a week of hearing "yes" who are so used to "no"s.

Marshall Gunn, who serves on the FICPA Executive Committee and on the board of Give Kids the World, arranged an FICPA service project at GTW on Saturday, Oct. 23, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., followed by lunch in the GTW Village.

Join the Orlando YCPAs and other Orlando-area FICPA members for this one-of-a-kind experience — helping GTW fulfill the wishes of children and families from around the world who are dealing with life-threatening, pediatric illnesses. GTW does this free of charge to the families. It cannot succeed alone and relies on the generosity of volunteers to serve more than 1,200 volunteer shifts every week.
