SPEAKER, TOPIC, AND CPE INFORMATION:
Introductions to Ethics & Understanding When CPAs Commit White Collar Crimes

Speakers: Alan Johnson & Leonard Feuer  

Topic: Mr. Alan Johnson, Esq. will discuss ethics and how ethics should influence your conduct as a certified public accountant.

Mr. Leonard Feuer, Esq. will discuss situations when CPAs may unintentionally commit white collar crimes such as violating the RICO act.

CPE: 3 hrs (Behavioral)

Mr. Alan Johnson, Esq. is the  Executive Director Palm Beach County Commission on Ethics. Mr. Johnson had previously worked as a state prosecutor for 17 years. Since 2000, Mr. Johnson has been a frequent instructor for the Florida Prosecuting Attorneys Association in areas including ethics for prosecutors, victim rights, homicide prosecution, evidence and jury selection.

Mr. Leonard Feuer, Esq. is a former state prosecutor and the founder of the Feuer Law Firm. Mr. Feuer has both prosecuted and defended a wide breadth of criminal cases, including traffic offenses, misdemeanors, including DUI, as well as violent felonies, and other complex felony trial cases.
