• Plan ahead for Ethics on June 16th.  Not the same old ethics this time around!  Tom Reilly will present ethics with a government spin.  The course will satisfy your 4-hour ethics requirement and counts toward the 24-hour Yellow Book requirement.

• A limited number of Tax Guides are available in the chapter office for purchase for $50 each.  Call the office at 407-896-1015 to reserve your copy.

• If you are using a pre-purchased certificate to pay for this meeting, please remember that you still need to make a reservation for each meeting you attend.

• April Social!  Congo River Miniature Golf on Saturday, April 30 at 9:30 a.m.  Bring your family and friends and help support scholarships for Accounting students!  Watch for flyer from FICPA for registration details or contact Pam Russell at  Breakfast, prizes, and lots of fun guaranteed!

• The Central Florida Chapter Nominating Committee has nominated the following officers for the 1011-2012 fiscal year.  Election will be held at the May 19, 2011 monthly meeting.

According to the FICPA Chapter Bylaws, Article VI, Section 5:  Any ten Public Practice or Not in Public Practice members of this chapter may submit supplemental nominations provided that such nominations be filed with the Secretary at least twenty days prior to the date of the election of officers.  Notice of such supplemental nominations shall be mailed by the Secretary to all Public Practice and Not in Public Practice members at least 10 days prior to the election of officers.

• The next Practitioner’s Forum meeting will be held May 17 at Denny’s Restaurant located at I-4 and Lee Road beginning at 7:10 AM. Program will be IFRS (A&A).  Cost is $12 with breakfast or $8 for CPE only. Reservations can be made by calling Kristine Spusta at 407-644-2322 or by sending an email to by May 13.
