Our Mission: To assist the homeless population and those at risk of homelessness to gain self-sufficiency by providing advocacy and the coordination of capacity building through partnerships within the community.
Our Purpose: The Coalition will achieve its mission, in accordance with the Continuum of Care, by:
Providing technical assistance, supportive services and educational opportunities to its members.
Advising existing shelters and support programs for the homeless population and evaluating unmet needs of this population.
Exploring all possible resources for addressing unmet needs and creating special initiatives to continue/expand existing programs for the homeless population.
Educating elected officials, community business leaders and the public at large regarding the circumstances and needs of the homeless population.

The Board needs advice on all of its financial decisions. The CPA would advise the financial committee on all financial matters. The CPA would oversee the annual financial report for accuracy and if any areas need addressing. The person would serve on the finance committee. The CPA would serve as the financial resource to the Board of Directors.
